Oregon Medical Marijuana Lawyer

Medical Marijuana

The State of Oregon has medical marijuana laws that were created to provide relief on behalf of patients suffering from a debilitating illness. At the law firm of David A. Hill, we are dedicated to protecting our clients from overreaching government officials. If you have been charged with illegal possession, manufacture or delivery of marijuana, contact our law office in Eugene, Oregon.

Know Your Rights

The Oregon medical marijuana program grants people with certain medical conditions the right to possess and grow marijuana for their own use. People who are entitled to use medical marijuana may possess 24 ounces of usable marijuana, or 6 mature plants and 18 marijuana seedlings (immature plants).

People who have obtained a medical marijuana card are excepted from the laws proscribing the manufacture, delivery or possession of marijuana if they are within the limits of possession as noted above. If you have been arrested and need help, the law firm of David A. Hill can help.

Even if you did not have a medical marijuana card at the time of your arrest, a valid defense may be available if you were awaiting your card, if you were eligible for a card or if you are the holder of an out-of-state medical marijuana program card.
