David A. Hill was born in Salem, Oregon, where he completed his education in the public school system up to high school. Following graduation, he enlisted in the U.S. Navy, serving for three years, including two years aboard the aircraft carrier USS Ticonderoga. After his military service, Mr. Hill enrolled at the University of Oregon, earning a degree in political science. He then continued his studies at the University of Oregon School of Law, graduating with a Doctor of Jurisprudence degree in 1979.

Upon passing the Oregon State Bar examination in 1979, Mr. Hill established his own law firm. His early practice included both court-appointed and retained criminal defense cases, along w

ith a variety of civil matters. His primary areas of expertise encompass Drug Defense, Search and Seizure Law, Measure 11 Defense, and DUII Defense.

With over 46 years of trial experience, Attorney David A. Hill has defended clients facing serious criminal charges in Oregon's state courts.
